Filled with outback charm, audiences will sing out loud, dance like animals and leave feeling like bush rockstars—without ever leaving their seats.

With his signature blend of bush storytelling, eco-conscious tunes, and heritage charm, Woody draws upon his own upbringing, growing up in the Australian bush, to create a welcoming world where every child feels empowered to make music.

“I love seeing kids discover they can make music,” says Woody, “Woody’s World is all about bringing out that innocent joy in everyone—whether you’re six or sixty-six!”

Mr Woody’s Last Lesson:

“Confessions of a teacher”

Gilded Balloon (Patter House)

1 - 24 AUG @ 16:00 pm

Tickets - HERE

A teacher walks into a bar... and never leaves.

From ABC Kids composer to late-night Fringe burnout,‘Mr Woody’s Last Lesson - Confessions of a Teacher’ is what happens when a wholesome music teacher, Woody Clark, finally breaks. Fresh from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, this 50 minute staffroom spiral will make it’s Edinburgh Fringe debut at Patter House, Gilded Balloon, at 4pm August 1-24.

After 23 years of classroom clichés, clueless parents, and coffee-fuelled patience, Woody is cracking open a bottle and telling it how it is. With foul-mouthed puppet students, dangerously unhinged ukulele solos, and a frank report on the staffroom underworld, this late-arvo meltdown is a love letter to every teacher who's ever dreamed of going rogue.

Woody Clark is a music teacher, comedian, and songwriter who’s spent decades performing for kids and families across Australia. With songs on ABC Kids, years teaching in remote schools, and a cult following for his ukulele antics, Mr. Woody’s Last Lesson is his long-awaited descent into adult comedy. Equal parts cathartic and chaotic, the show is resonating with educators, parents, and anyone who barely survived high school.

“This show is every exhausted teacher’s fantasy,” says Woody. “It’s about finally saying the stuff we’re only meant to think in the car park.”
